Revenue Integrity Analyst/Clinical Auditor - Kodiak

Description: Providence Health & Services is looking of Revenue Integrity Analyst/Clinical Auditor - Kodiak right now, this occupation will be placed in Alaska. Analyze and resolve specific billing edits that require clinical expertise and that are delaying claims from processing in billing software.
Maintain the CDM by incorporating new charges and services identified by the departments, third party changes, special requirements, and/or coding updates.
Identify charging, coding, or clinical documentation issues and work with appropriate leadership and ancillary departments to resolve issues.
Research coding and charging standards.
Review, develop, implement, evaluate, and revise charge guidelines to optimize revenue management; effectively implement recommendations and monitors results.
Act as the point person for patient charge estimates.
Possess knowledge of CPT-4, HCPCS, and ICD-9 coding requirements and relation to charging.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing or graduate from an accredited college or university with a minimum of an Associates degree in a clinical healthcare field.
Must maintain current licensure in a clinical healthcare field.
Two (2) years of clinical experience required.
Must have ability to communicate (written and verbal) well and interact with multiple health care professionals, including medical and allied staff.
Must be proficient with word document, spreadsheet, and presentation software applications.
Must be well organized and able to prioritize tasks.
Analytic problem-solving skills required.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelorâs degree preferred.
Three (3) or more years of clinical experience preferred.
Database management skills preferred.
Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9 coding preferred.
