The Clinical Educator Advanced is a registered nurse with expertise in nursing education who influences professional rol! e, competence, and professional growth of nurses in a variety of settings.
The Clinical Educator Advanced is responsible for hospital and unit based education program planning, development and implementation. This includes, but is not limited to: strategizing educational needs of the staff and the organization, validating required educational needs and competencies for staff; developing training programs, curricula, and processes; utilizes proven evaluation tools for the evaluation of staff and processes; oversight of preceptorship program; develops, manages, and coordinates group collaboration (unit and hospital based workgroups, councils, etc.) as appropriate; ensuring staff education records are maintained; and, collaborating with the leadership team about staff educational needs. Able to teach courses that are required for competency (e.g. ACLS, PALS, etc).
Education: Must have a Master's degree in Nursing or Health related field. If candidate does not ha! ve a Master's degree in Nursing, the candidate must have a Bac! helor's degree in Nursing and a Master APPLICANTS MUST HOLD A DEGREE AND BE LICENSED IN THIS PROFESSION TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSTING.
