Book your next position in Kodiak, Alaska! This medical center features a 25 acute care beds and a 19 long-term care beds. Services offered he! re include, but are not limited to home care, emergency care, maternity, surgical services, and rehabilitation. Kodiak Islands is a large group of islands located about 30 miles from the Alaska Peninsula and 158 miles across the Gulf of Alaska from Homer, Alaska. The islands offer some of the most beautiful scenery from the beautiful blue waters and protected bays to the majestic mountains. Wildlife abounds here, including sea lions, seal, sea otters, whales, porpoises, and the famous black bears. To get here, take a short 1 hour flight on Era Aviation or Alaska Airlines from Anchorage, or the Alaska Marine Highway System provides passenger and vehicle service to Kodiak and Port Lions aboard the M/V Tustumena or the M/V Kennicott from Homer or Whittier.
