Release Engineer [Thailand]


 

Role(s)for release engineer:
Job responsibilities:
  • Make changes to existing puppet modules / packaging scripts.
  • Help with build, packaging and documentation of production software releases
  • Help with configuration management of deployed production / integration testing software
  • Perform deployment testing of packages in dev environments and troubleshoot issues
  • Work with functional QA and integration test teams and support teams to identify issues with releases and perform initial troubleshooting related to packaging and configuration.
  • Run performance tests for application components and improve on automation of tests.
Qualifications :
  • Strong experience with Puppet
  • Working knowledge of docker containers
  • Strong experience in Shell scripting, Python and basic linux system administration
  • Strong, demonstrated analytical troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency in Linux
  • 2+ years of working in an environment with server/client architecture of applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work partially in US hours
  • Understanding of market data applications is a plus
  • Basic understanding of inter-process communications and troubleshooting skills.
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, multicast
