POSITION SUMMARY: The Clinical Educator serves as a teacher, facilitator, and consultant, working collaboratively with nursing and hospital management to implement ! the educational goals and enhance the knowledge, skills and abilities of nursing and other clinical staff. The Clinical Educator assesses needs, then plans, organizes, implements and evaluates education and training activities. These efforts are designed to assist all clinical personnel to acquire, maintain, or improve psychomotor, cognitive and effective learning that will provide continuously improving patient care outcomes.
REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of a school of nursing; BSN required, prefer Masters; current AK licensure at time of hire; require critical care background; prefer clinical education experience and a clinical expert in the critical care areas of acute care setting.
