A
Registered Nurse (RN) who renders individualized comprehensive nursing care to meet patients’ physical, psychological, spiritual, social, cultural and educational needs.
The RN provides the best possible preventative, supportive, and rehabilitative nursing care to meet the needs of
Pediatric and adolescent patients needs based upon the nursing process and in accordance with hospital policy and procedure;
coordinat
es functions with physicians and other departments of the hospital in a spirit that fosters positive working relationships.
Qualifications
LICENSE REQUIRED:
Registered Nurse â€" State of Alaska
CERTIFICATIONS:
BLS and PALS Required
EDUCATION:
2 year/Associate Degree Required
EXPERIENCE:
1 year experience as a Pediatrics RN Required.
Skills:
Performs age specific neonat! e and pediatric assessments
Assesses age specific saf! ety issues for neonates and peds
Interprets patient data and responses for neonates and peds
Performs venipuncture properly for neonate/pediatric patient
