Onward Healthcare is looking for an Occupational Therapist to provide a mix of inpatient / outpatient care at one of our contracted facilities. This O! ccupational Therapist will work with patients to improve and restore their ability to perform routine activities of daily living (ADLs) safely and independently. The OT will also work closely with each patient and their physicians, physical therapist, nurses, and other team members to design a unique treatment program.
We are currently accepting applications from experienced occupational therapists, as well as occupational therapy new grads. This facility offers excellent opportunities for OT career growth plus a competitive base salary.
Occupational Therapy Job Responsibilities include:
Assess, evaluate and provide occupational therapy care to patients
Plan, organize and conduct programs to help patients regain physical and or mental functioning or adjust to their handicaps
Teach patient the skills and techniques required for ADLs
Evaluate and report on patient's response to treatment and progress toward identified goals
Instruct and! educate patients and families
Participate in patient disc! harge planning
