The Electronic Installer is responsible for installation, service and troubleshoot a variety of Fire Alarm, CC! TV, Access Control, Security and Nurse Call systems.
Responsibilities:
- Read and understand blueprints, diagrams and specifications used in installation activities.
- Carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 40 pounds, climbing ladders, scaffolding & high lift equipment up to 40 feet.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools.
- Coordinate activities with electrical, and sub-contractors.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and attitude at all times.
- Maintain project reports and paperwork as necessary.
Minimum qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 4 years field experience in low voltage installation.
- Must have or acquire State of Alaska Fire system permit.
- Have or acquire within 1 year - NICET II certification.
- Basic knowledge of OSHA & NFPA codes ! and regulations.
- Able to pass a comprehensive backgro! und check and drug test.
