Candidates will have! 3 + years of experience within a leadership capacity in Adult Critical Care and/or leadership role within an acute care hospital setting. Must be proficient in leadership, quality improvement, health & safety and the planning and delivery of nursing and other healthcare services. Candidate will be responsible for the overall accountability for clinical and operational issues for assigned units. Ability to communicate effectively with physicians and staff is essential. Strong medical terminology skills and a MasterÂ's Degree are required. Bachelors or Masters Degree must be in Nursing. CCRN preferred. Must be licensed in Alaska at time of hire. Certification in management or clinical specialty within 12 months of hire.
