- . Provision of comprehensive primary care services, including acute
some in-office procedures . Working as a member of an integrated !
healthcare team along with a nurse practitioner, licensed practical
nurse, and medical assistant to collaboratively manage patient care .
Supervision and teaching of nurse practitioners and support staff .
Comprehensive electronic medical record-keeping . Data collection in
the electronic medical record for quality management purposes .
Participation in clinic and organization-wide quality improvement
activities. . Participation in patient education activities (such as
group visits, seminars, outreach, etc.) . Working with X-ray,
laboratory and dispensary services (training provided) . After-hours
phone calls from patients on a pre-set call schedule . Approximately
36 hours of scheduled patient contact per week, rotating weekend
clinic coverage.
