Detailed specification about this vacancy opportunity kindly read the description below. We are a growing family practice clinic with an opening for a CLINICAL NURSE MANAGER . The Nursing Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating and managing the daily o! perations of the nursing department. The Clinical Nurse Manager, under the direct supervision of the Administrator, works to ensure quality customer service, manage the assigned clinical area in a professional, efficient and ethical manner and provide the clinical knowledge and skills necessary for the highest quality patient care possible. The Clinical Nurse Manager performs general support by assisting in coordination and management of administrative and clinical matters. Secondary responsibilities include coordination, scheduling and training of clinical staff, coordinating day to day operations of the nursing staff and recommending and implementing changes that would improve delivery of services.
This position functions as an integral member of the leadership team, bringing the professional nursing perspective to the group and upholding the standards of nursing practice. This position also acts as a liaison with medical staff and other departments and agencies ! to ensure quality, efficient patient care.
EDUCATI! ON/EXPERIENCE: Bachelors of Science in Nursing, minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience required. Current Alaska State Nursing License. Current BLS required. Minimum of five to seven years of experience working as a Nurse in a hospital, outpatient center or medical office.
