A Registered Nurse (RN) who renders individualized comprehensive nursing care to meet patients' physical, psychological, spiritual, social, cultural and educational! needs. The RN provides the best possible preventative, supportive, and rehabilitative nursing care to meet the needs of Pediatric and adolescent patients needs based upon the nursing process and in accordance with hospital policy and procedure; coordinates functions with physicians and other departments of the hospital in a spirit that fosters positive working relationships.
LICENSE REQUIRED: Registered Nurse - State of Alaska CERTIFICATIONS: BLS and PALS Required EDUCATION: 2 year/Associate Degree Required 1 years experience acute care work history Required Skills: Performs age specific neonate and pediatric assessmentsAssesses age specific safety issues for neonates and pedsInterprets patient data and responses for neonates and pedsPerforms venipuncture properly for neonate/pediatric patient
