The Peri-Operative Business Manager is an administrative member of the management team with 24-hour responsibility of coordinating and directing business operations within the Surg! ical Services department. POBM will also be responsible for statistical, budgetary, and analytical analysis of operations within the Surgical Services department.
Qualifications
Education:
High school graduate. Bachelaureate degree in Nursing, Business, Public Administration or Hospital Administration preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year management experience in peri-operative services.
Minimum of 3 years administrative management experience in major medical facility.
Skills:
Possess effective communication skills, both written and verbal, interpersonal skills necessary to work productively with all levels of hospital personnel and to manage the activities of a group of employees.
Licensure:
Current Alaska license to practice Nursing if incumbent is a Registered Nurse.
