This is a day PACU position for 13 weeks
10 ho! ur shifts
Position requires RN to work in Pre-Op, PACU and Phase 2 (same day surgery and endo).
On-call is required (approximately 5 days per month)
Start Date: ASAP
Only nurses experienced in PACU and with travel experience, will be considered.

Provides patient/resident care based on the nursing process

Responsibilities:
This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing p! ractice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
Job Summary:
Required:
AK nurse license
BLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS
At least 2 years current experience in PACU/PreOP nursing
Must have experience with Trauma, Ortho, Total Joint Replacements, ENT.
Must have travel nurse experience
Must be able to pass an EKG test
