As a Labor and Delivery RN , you will be responsible for providing patient care to antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal patients in accordance ! with the hospital policies/procedures and nursing standards and practices set by the State Boards. You will also be required to handle complex OB/neonatal cases which may require stabilization of life threatening conditions that includes: management of multiple IV lines, medication administration and use of monitoring equipment. You are expected to collaborate and communicate with your co-workers, ancillary staff and other patient team personnel at all times.
Qualifications
Skills and Experience
Graduate from a reputable Nursing School: BSN Minimum of 2+ to 5 years post graduate experience as OB/Labor and Delivery RN Active state license to practice in Alaska (Unrestricted License, preferred) Relevant specialty certifications/credentials - BCLS- NRP Fetal Monitoring certification and AWHONN Course Professional References
